Mrs. Bavolek’s experience in administration, project management, grant writing/tracking and leadership experience started in 1998. Mrs. Bavolek’s principal areas of specialization include cost control, financial analysis, subcontractor oversight, financial monthly reporting and earned value management. She works closely with Project Managers and Cost Account Managers to create and manage budgets, and gather, interpret, and report actual cost data to internal and external customers. She supports project managers with compliance with contract terms and reporting requirements on small to large projects.

Mrs. Bavolek was part of Lucy Earned Value Management System (EVMS) acting as the Project Control. Her responsibilities included using EVMS Software to gather actual costs, earnings from Primavera, generating forecasts, producing IPMR reports, and oversight of formal changes to the project baseline. She has assisted with proposals as well as existing projects. She has worked with budget development and maintenance for the following projects: Solaris, Rosetta, MSL RAD, Lucy, PUNCH, JEDI, DIMPLE and SPICE. Additionally, Mrs. Bavolek’s focus is proposal preparation for ~70 grant proposal per year. She is responsible for the preparation of proposals for submission, preparation of budgets, and assistance with the building of the proposal package to meet proposal requirements.

Ms. Bavolek is the Manager for the Div 19 Directorate Proposal & Project Administration group that provides proposal support, financial reporting/analysis, planner/schedule support, subcontractor management, and cost analysis support. Additionally, Ms. Bavolek is the Manager for the Div 19 Administrative team.
