Jeff Hedlund is an Engineer for the Department of Space Operations in the Solar System Science & Exploration Division. He is a member of the NASA Lucy Science Operations Center (SOC) uplink team and is responsible for commanding the RALPH instrument and developing numerous SOC software applications and science review products. Hedlund has also contributed to NOAA’s SwSCOR mission, where he built ground processing and simulation software, and authored algorithm test and validation plans, requirements, and technical design documentation. His expertise is in spacecraft and instrument operations, software development, and systems engineering. He has a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
