Katherine Kretke specializes in the formation and evolution of the planets and planetary systems. She received a B.A. in physics and astrophysics from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Ph.D. in astronomy from the University of California, Santa Cruz. In addition to her research, Dr. Kretke has a passion for science education and leads SwRI’s public outreach for the NASA Lucy Mission.
